The 'Original Banger' is a vintage output humbucker pickup with just 6 pole pieces and a grey fibre plate top.

Billy F Gibbons designed the pickup and wanted a vintage look using grey coloured fibre material. He also specified having the treble side of the pole pieces further away from the bridge on the guitar.
